Airside Incursion Mitigation (AIM) is the award-winning incursion protection and CAA compliance evidence system from Simplytrak. We are excited to be exhibiting our latest solution on 7th and 8th June at the British-Irish Airports Expo at the NEC Birmingham on stand H11. The exhibition is an opportunity to demonstrate how AIM can help to prevent runway incursions and also assist with mandated compliance requirements.
Incursions
When designing AIM we worked with UK airports and can offer a solution that is bespoke to each airport’s needs and requirements. The solution is installed in all airside vehicles and requires no external communications to alert drivers to potential incursion risks. Alerts can be sent to ATC if an airside vehicle is in or near a sensitive or restricted area. ATC and duty managers can view all airside vehicles at any time, on-screen, whatever the visibility on the ground. Zones automatically change when ATC call for LVP to be instigated.
Compliance and Safety
AIM also comprises software that covers many airport compliance requirements and contains a full suite of reports, alarms and alerts to highlight potentially dangerous activity. This allows compliance officers and the tower to ensure safe operation of all airside vehicles 100% of the time. CAA compliance checks can now be fully verified with a full playback of all airside fleet inspections and maintenance activities.
If you are interested in being introduced to AIM, the incursion protection and CAA compliance evidence system, please email Ian Wood, Business Development Manager at ian@simplytrak.com to book an appointment to come and meet us for a full demonstration. You can register your place as a delegate at the British-Irish Airports Expo website.
